Who Are The Primitive Baptist Builders?The Primitive Baptist Builders, Inc. was organized in 1954 to help new and struggling churches build or purchase a building in which to worship the Lord Jesus Christ.
The organization was formed on a scriptural basis. The theme was "Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thy habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes" (Isaiah 54:2). |

The Apostle Paul shares a wonderful and beautiful principle for living as he reminds us of the teachings of Jesus. He said "I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35). Since its inception in 1954, the Primitive Baptist Builders, Inc., has been committed to this noble idea of helping the weak and struggling churches. Not only have the Builders helped in building many churches but in recent years, the Builders have also assisted congregations to relocate their worship facilities, build an annex, or renovate their sanctuary.

How Do The Builders Operate?The Builders receive monetary gifts from individuals and churches and compile the funds to give assistance to Progressive Primitive Baptist Churches who are small and need help acquiring a building in which to worship God. The monies are then given to qualified groups as a gift and not a loan. Gifts up to $60,000 are given toward the original sanctuary or to assist in relocation, up to $30,000 to assist in building an annex, and up to $25,000 for assistance in renovations of church sanctuaries. Over the years these amounts have increased as costs increase and funds were available.

Who Receives Help From The Builders?Of course, we cannot possibly help every church who desires to build or relocate. If we did, there would not be funds to help weak and struggling groups. Churches that are well established or that have a strong membership hopefully are able to finance such programs. On the other hand, churches that are small in membership and struggling financially are in desperate need and may not be able to move forward without assistance. Our aim is to assist those who might not otherwise be able to meet the financial cost of buying and building and maintaining the house of God.

How Much Of My Gift Is Used To Help New And Struggling Churches?One hundred percent of all monies given to the Builders goes toward helping churches. All our directors serve at their own expense, believing that we are serving the Lord Jesus Christ as we serve His people. Even our small operating expenses are taken from interest that is accrued while we wait on requests. All that you give will in time be added to the gifts of others, and given to help provide a building in which God's people may worship Him and proclaim the great doctrines of grace that glorify Him and comfort His people.

How Can I Help?We believe the Builders is a worthwhile organization and we are asking that you consider supporting us as you have funds available to so. You may include the Builders in your church budget. If you are a part of a civic group or organization that contributes to benevolent causes, we will appreciate your consideration. Perhaps you know someone who is looking for a worthy cause to which to contribute, we will appreciate you calling our organization to their attention. As an individual, you may be looking for a way to help in an effort that reaches beyond your community; we will appreciate your gift, large or small.
