Greetings to you from the DMI Board!
On Saturday, October 7th, the Annual Meeting of Discipling Ministries International [DMI] will be held at the Ramah Primitive Baptist Church in Barnesville, GA. The meeting begins at 10:00 a.m. Delegates from supporting churches* will hear about the work of DMI in the past year, and will vote on members of the Board to serve for a new 2-year term.
In addition to the regular business discussions, we hope to hear from two of the Ukraine ministries we have supported this past year – the Happy Home Ministry under the leadership of Oksana Sydorchuk, and the Drug Rehabilitation Ministry under the Direction of the church in Markariv led by Pastor Maxim ‘Max’ Mamakin. Both Oksana and Pastor Max are planning to be with us via Zoom. Pastor Max will bring the Inspirational Message at the meeting. We also hope to have Brother Sasha Malov with us as well.
While we hope to have all delegates present in person from supporting churches, we also would like to invite anyone who has an interest in this ministry to join us at Ramah Church on October 7th. We plan to have Zoom Conference arrangements available for delegates and others who are unable to attend in person.
There is a limit of 100 for the Zoom Meeting. We will reserve enough places first for delegates from supporting churches. We would expect to then have enough for about 80 others to participate by Zoom.
If you are interested in attending via Zoom, please email me at least a week in advance at wderobbjr@hotmail.com. We will contact you later with instructions for joining the Zoom meeting. Participation via Zoom will be on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
If you would like to attend the meeting at Ramah Church in person, also, please let me know at least a week in advance at wderobbjr@hotmail.com so we can inform the members of Ramah who will be preparing lunch for those in attendance.
Thank you to all who have supported this ministry over the past 30 years. We continue to seek your support both with prayers and with contributions. Even in the midst of the terrible war going on in Ukraine, the Lord has still kept the door of ministry open for us.
